His deep proficiency is further solidified by his designation as a Certified Remodeler, showcasing his expertise in high-end projects and design.
Ed’s leadership is defined by an unwavering belief in continuous business development and strategic growth, a philosophy he pursues through active engagement with elite industry groups like Remodeler Advantage. Eddy Jackson proudly serves as the CEO of Jackson Construction, the esteemed family- owned business his father founded 33 years ago. Born and raised in Shreveport, Eddy took the helm as CEO in 2021, dedicating his career to maintaining the company’s legacy of superior craftsmanship and client trust.
Eddy’s leadership is built on a strong foundation of both technical skill and strategic vision. He holds an active CPA license and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado, equipping him with the sharp financial acumen essential to the construction industry. His hands-on approach has been the driving force behind Jackson Construction’s growth and its reputation for delivering exceptional home renovation and remodeling services throughout the Shreveport area.
Outside of the office, Eddy cherishes his time with his wife, their two sons, and their beloved golden retriever, Jake. An enthusiastic explorer, he regularly leads his family on road trips to new destinations, with Jake always along for the adventure. This commitment to both family and community defines Eddy Jackson, shining through in his personal life and his dedicated stewardship of Jackson Construction.
Laura Richardson is a dynamic force at Jackson, seamlessly blending high-level design expertise with deep operational knowledge to drive project success. A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, her understanding of the local community and design sensibilities is unparalleled.
Laura’s professional journey began with a strong foundation, graduating from Louisiana Tech in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in interior design. Over her 11 years at Jackson, she has evolved into a multi-talented leader, having cultivated extensive experience in Design, Sales, and Office Management. This versatile background makes her an invaluable asset and
a true pusher for the company’s continuous improvement.
Currently serving as our Lead Designer, Laura’s core passion is translating client aspirations into tangible, exceptional living spaces. She possesses a remarkable ability to understand project objectives and, through great communication and an adaptable approach, ensures every client not only meets but hits their dream plans.
Laura is super talented and meticulous in her craft. She is celebrated for her profound, inside-out knowledge of materials, current design trends, and construction specifications.
Her expertise transcends pure aesthetics; she is super knowledgeable in the construction contracting industry, enabling her to create designs that are not only beautiful but also structurally sound, highly functional, and optimized for lasting value.

Suzanne Gatti is an Account Executive at Jackson Construction, where she thrives on the excitement of an ever-changing work environment and the opportunity to collaborate with an amazing team.
Born and raised in the area, Suzanne spent 25 years living in Texas before making her way back home to be closer to family. She is married and cherishes the time she
spends with her loved ones, especially during the holidays, which she considers the best time of the year.
Suzanne’s passion for design and decorating began at the age of 14, and over the years she has enjoyed transforming residential and commercial spaces. Among her proudest accomplishments are designing a parade home in 2010 and remodeling a fitness center in less than 48 hours—a true ‘while you were out experience.
An avid lover of nature and the outdoors, Suzanne enjoys walking, working out, traveling, and spending time at home. She feels blessed to be surrounded by wonderful colleagues and is grateful for the constant variety her work brings. For Suzanne, every day is a new adventure.
Born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, Jeremy Bayles is a dedicated Project Manager at Jackson Construction. His deep connection to the industry started young; with a grandfather who was a general contractor, Jeremy was familiar with job sites from an early age.
His formal construction career began when he entered the electrical union apprenticeship program at 18. He successfully earned his license as a Journeyman Electrician in 2012. Jeremy joined the Jackson Construction team and had since built a versatile and invaluable career within the company. He has held multiple key positions, including Lead Carpenter,
Production Coordinator, and Estimator.
Today, Jeremy is back on the production team as a Project Manager, where he focuses on the crucial task of training the company’s future talent—mentoring new apprentices and lead carpenters while ensuring the highest standards of quality are met on every project. His comprehensive, hands-on experience makes him an essential leader in Jackson Construction’s production success.
Kenneth Jones brings a wealth of over 33 years of deep expertise in the building and construction industry, making him an invaluable asset to our team and our clients. A proud native of Bossier City, Louisiana, Kenneth has spent his entire career in the Shreveport/Bossier area, developing an intimate and nuanced understanding of the local construction landscape and community needs. Kenneth’s tenure at Jackson spans over eight years, where his extensive experience has been vital to our success. He initially spent seven years as a Lead Carpenter in the field, where he honed his skills in all facets of construction, managing projects hands-on, and
ensuring the highest quality of craftsmanship. This practical, field-level experience gives him a unique and comprehensive perspective on every project.
For the past year, Kenneth has leveraged his vast field knowledge in his current role as Production Manager. In this capacity, he is directly responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, from initial planning to final delivery. Known for his trustworthy and client-focused approach, Kenneth is committed to ensuring every client is completely
satisfied with their home improvement journey. He excels at understanding client needs, quickly identifying and fixing complex issues, and using his skills to significantly improve their home living environments.

Katie Layfield is the Accounting and Finance Manager at Jackson, bringing over eight years of comprehensive experience in the finance sector. She has recently focused her expertise on the construction industry, which she considers her favorite due to the unique opportunity to see “visions turn into reality” outside of the traditional ledger.
A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Katie is a proud graduate of Northwestern State University, where she earned her degree in Business Administration in 2018. Her professional background includes a strong foundation built in the automotive industry from 2018-2025 before transitioning to construction in 2025.
Away from work, Katie maintains an active lifestyle, enjoying time with friends and family, attending church, playing tennis, and going to the gym.
Alicia Taylor is a dedicated Project Manager at Jackson, known for bringing sharp business acumen and exceptional organizational skills to every project.
A native of South Louisiana, Alicia has called Shreveport home for the past 15 years, integrating her community spirit into her professional approach. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management and is recognized for her meticulous attention to detail and innate ability to streamline processes, ensuring projects run with maximum efficiency.
Alicia first joined the Jackson team two years ago and recently returned in January, eager to contribute her fresh energy and service-focused dedication. She is deeply rooted in her faith, actively involved with her church, and strives to reflect her values in her work and professional relationships.
Beyond the office, Alicia leads an active, team-focused life. She serves as a soccer referee and works with the local Mudbugs hockey team. Balancing this high-energy involvement, she is also an artist at heart, constantly creating vibrant and unique pieces. At home, she manages a lively household with two dogs and two cats, ensuring her life is never boring.
